A Life Spent in Clothes

Peter Hartman started working with clothing at the age of 16.  He was hired as a pants presser for a friend’s small dry cleaning business. At the age of 19, he was promoted to manager and soon opened his first dry cleaning business. The Hartmans owned the Kings Kleaners in Landen, Ohio for over 5 years. In 1998 Pete and his wife Lisa opened Royal Custom Cleaners.  Pete says, “We wanted to offer our customers more, things like silk screening and embroidery.”

Pete didn’t realize it at the time, but that was the beginning of a whole new business, Apparel Team Plus.  Today Pete delivers quality, branded clothing to corporate clients.  Whether its shirts, jackets or hats Apparel Team Plus can create the corporate attire you need.  That includes gear for company sporting events like golf outings or softball games, as well.

Members of the Community

Pete and Lisa have been apart of the Eastside Cincinnati community their whole lives.  They have raised four children here.  During that time Pete coached baseball, basketball and soccer.  Lisa, meanwhile, was busy as a Girl Scout leader. Together they started a band in 2008 called Gypsy Stone and have played all over the tristate, and in Nashville, TN.  The band has also recorded 2 CDs!
